I've been thinking alot about Songs.
It was always something that I just did because I could- because I like drawing, and Angel & Shaper lent themselves well to visuals. But I never really put any work into it. I just drew, and if there was an update, sometimes the update sucked. (which explains the wildly fluxuating art) I've decided that I need to pt more efort into it, but I'm not goign to obsess if the shading (done with dieing markers) isn't smooth, or if the pannels aren't as streight as they could be. (not only can I not draw stright pannels with ten minutes and a t-square, I can somehow manage to make them crooked on the computer. It's a talent.)
But that being said, at some point I'm going to post the first two stories I drew. and a great deal of Haunted House, the first story, uhm. Sucked. esspecaily compared with my general quality of art now. Three years of drawing two diffrent comics will do that to your art. It will develop if nothing else.
So what am I saying? When I do post them (probably some time after the new year) please don't be mean because they aren't as good as they could be in a perfect world. Just compare them to some other stuff that's on the web and realize that while I am not in the top one hundred artists out there, or maybe even top thousand even, I am certainly not numbered with the worst.
With luck I will finish posting the already drawn and posted on Drunk Duck pages of Dancing in the Dark this week, and next week, I will start posting new pages.
